About Direct Private Villas

Direct Private Villas is a directory of privately owned villas across Dalmatia, Croatia. Every listed property can be booked directly with its owner – by using the e-mail address associated with the property, without going through Airbnb, Vrbo, or Booking.com, which means no platform service fees added to your total price.

This is not a listing aggregator in a classical sense. Every villa in this collection has been personally visited and inspected before being added, not just approved from photos or a listing form. Its confirmed it matches what’s advertised and only added once we’re confident it meets our standard.

Listings are also reviewed on an ongoing basis. A villa needs to maintain consistently positive guest reviews to stay in the collection. A pattern of poor reviews or unresolved complaints is grounds for removal. Average property review score, combining all booking platforms + direct channels, is 4.92/5 stars – near perfect rating.

Behind every property in this collection is a real team of people genuinely invested in making your stay as enjoyable as possible. No algorithms, no chatbots or automated systems. From your very first message to the moment you check out, you’ll always be dealing with the property owner or someone the owner has trusted to help.

That personal approach extends throughout your entire stay, from planning your visit and preparing the property for your group, to keeping everything well maintained and being there whenever you have a question or need something.

Every owner and their team has years of hands-on hosting experience, so you can feel confident that there’s always a real person at your service during your holiday.
