Villa Duka is an entire private family estate in the Makarska hinterland, roughly 30 minutes from the coast at Baška Voda, sleeping up to 13 guests across 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms spread over two renovated floors, 2 living rooms and 3 kitchens, which makes it a hit with extended multi-generational families. At 470m² total including the pool and grounds, the property has no close neighbours, so groups get full run of the estate without sharing space with anyone else. The centrepiece is a large heated pool with a separate outdoor kitchen and BBQ fireplace area just above it, plus a big dining table for outdoor meals. Each bedroom has A/C, and the kitchens are fully equipped for self-catering.

Kids have plenty to do without needing a car – there’s a trampoline and table tennis right by the pool, and the enclosed, neighbour-free estate means children can move between the pool, patio, and garden safely under supervision. The villa also comes with Starlink satellite wifi (a genuinely rare amenity in this area, ideal for work retreats) and a PlayStation 5, useful for downtime or if the weather doesn’t cooperate. A sound system and microphone are available too, handy for family celebrations or a low-key evening in rather than driving out for entertainment.
